^^Actually it does. The first listings are the counties: Montgomery, Howard, Southern Baltimore, etc. Then the cities: Gaithersburg, Columbia, Warrenton, Washington, etc Sorry to burst your bubble!
Just an error on their part. Washington co encompasses Hagerstown. Check the whether map - Shenandoah, warren , page counties - it's an arc of sorts. Also try a bit of common sense - somehow a massive weather event will effect Loudon Co but manage to skip all of Fairfax co, Arlington, Alexandria and only hit DC?
there's another area which reports fairfax etc....
Here you go, dollface, the weather map clearly shows Washington (DC) right in the middle of it. Again, sorry to burst your bubble! http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/capital-weather-gang/wp/2014/03/01/storm-update-heavy-snow-and-crashing-temperatures-likely-monday-starts-as-rain-to-wintry-mix-late-sunday/
Seriously? You don't understand how to look at the time and dates on their posts. That was yesterday. This morning they say the same as NWS, it's hard to tell but the arc for snow is the one going from Charlottesville up into southern md. Look, this isn't some unknown - the snow accumulation is always heavier in that area and here - it's always iffy, could be rain, could be 50 and sunny. It's been that way for 20+ years.
