There were three of us interns in the main office when he came in.  When he went in to his meeting, we hightailed it over to the interns' room to tell them who was here and there was a LOT of giggling.  Later, one of the staffers told us that JFK Jr. had heard all the squealing and he thought it was funny.  I was lucky to be in the front room when he came in and he made small talk and was so polite.  he had to wait about 10 minutes for his meeting and he looked at the photos on the wall and chatted and he politely tried to pretend he did not notice that we were all agog over him.

I also went on a doubledate with [b]Patrick Kennedy[/b] and another intern who he was keen on that same summer.  He was very quiet and awkward and nothing at all like John, Jr.  (I have told these two stories a lot so anyone who knows me IRL will know exactly who I am.) [/quote]
