Pumpkin back again. JinDC, add me to the mix of those jealous of your vitamix. I think we talked before about smoothies. I was really into them before the NVP hit and I expect that some day soon they'll be good again. Today has been a TERRIBLE day for me. My son slept terribly last night and I think he may be getting sick and I'm overwhelmingly, staggeringly tired. And the nausea that usually lets up occasionally throughout the day has not let up at all. I work from home and was actually just like ok screw it, i'm going to take a nap but I can't fall asleep, kept getting up thinking maybe I'll throw up, but not actually doing it. Oh, (warning, if you yourself are experiencing bad nausea skip ahead to the next paragraph, because this is GROSS) but the "best" part is my animals. Yesterday afternoon, my cat's litter box gate (that keeps the dog out of it) was jammed in a bad position so cat couldn't get to it and he relieved himself on a box of summer shoes. Bunch of cute boden sandals, and my favorite wedge heels that are actually comfortable. So I was trying to clean them up while dry heaving because DH and DS were out and I was the only one here. Then, today, working downstairs (cat litter is in other room) and dog is gone for a while and way too quiet, he comes in and his breath makes it clear the cat litter gate never got put back up and he's helped himself to a nice afternoon buffet. Cue hurling. And nobody is home and the dog keeps coming up to me trying to put his head in my lap like "wat?" AGGGGGGHHH! After that I just gave up. Again, I'm the only one here, but there's no way I'm facing the situation I know is waiting in the other room, I'll just remind DH of the guidelines for cat litter, even if we've never really been too worried before. :) I'm not Jewish (happy Passover to those who are!) but I am happy to take the rest of this day off! I can't concentrate on work, but when I take a break I just feel super bored (now you see why my posts are always so long and I"m on here so often?). JinDC, I hope your seder is fantastic and worth all of the effort you put into it. What's on your menu? My parents (mom's side) were supposed to come down for Easter. They're not coming after all due to some house issues they need to fix and I have to admit I'm slightly relieved. Thankfully Congress is in recess for the next few weeks so my job is slower than usual. I had another twin dream last night. Serenity now people because while I think that sounds super fun, I don't know how our family would deal! Whew! Okay, I need to go try to force myself to sleep, then maybe make some chicken noodle soup. That sounds tolerable today... November interloper, I tested early too. funny because I hadn't tested for months but smelled someone's hair at trader joe's and was like "revolting!" and then tested the next day and sure enough...About 6 days before my missed period. It does make the first trimester so much longer!
