I've got bad news for you.  The District has the highest median income in the nation.  Compared to the rest of the country you're looking at a lot of rich neighbors.  You may want to define the rich.  For me, I'm very clear that my interests do not align with the top 2%.  A lot of our neighbors are upper middle class.  We can use this tax base to our advantage.[/quote]

What? DC's median household income is second-lowest in the area, only beating out PG. Loudoun, Fairfax, MoCo, Arlington, Alexandria, heck even Prince William County all have higher median household incomes than DC.[/quote]
