[/quote] Right, so there was no other choice but to dismantle accelerated math entirely. NO OTHER OPTION. This is why people are upset with MCPS. Instead of making improvements based on data (like figuring out how to identify those kids who really should be in accelerated math and improving on/off ramps) they throw the whole thing out and start something new that they have no idea how to implement. Right after they did the same thing with ELA and it went very badly. It truly boggles the mind [/quote]
