I had someone say something like this to me when I was pregnant with my first son, after a daughter. I remember it to this day "I knew I was having 3 girls because that is all I wanted...I wouldn't want a boy". It was horrible to hear, and I know she regrets it now as she is the grandmother of 2 little boys she obviously adores. It is truly sad to me, as a mother to 2 boys and 2 girls. I'm incredibly close to each of them, in different ways, but they have each brought their own unique "self" for me to love. [/quote]
