The posters outraged by Israel consistently, repeatedly acknowledge that Hamas also deserves condemnation. They acknowledge evil on both sides, but believe that Israel is disproportionally to blame for the conflict.

The posters who refuse to acknowledge Israel’s horrific policies and actions won’t return the favor. They will never concede evil on both sides, sidestepping real accountability by pretending that the Israeli evil is limited to a few leaders.

That’s it, in a nutshell.

DP. You must be reading a different DCUM than I am. I just see repeated denials that Hamas systematically raped, tortured, and executed women and children on 10/7 here from the Palestinian supporters. I rarely see any acknowledgment of atrocities by Hamas.

I am fully willing to say that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide, that the IDF has and continues to commit atrocities, that the US should not be supporting a genocidal state. But I would like to see some honesty from the Palestinian supporters too about the atrocities committed on the Palestinian side, and I rarely see that on DCUM. I don’t see how we move forward at all here with supporters on both sides just outright lying all the time. [/quote]

Not once have I seen any of the posters who repeat the same song and dance about "Israel's genocidal monsters/demons/ghouls" admit that Hamas are ALSO "monsters/demons/ghouls" who have committed terrible atrocities.  Not one time.  And that goes tenfold for the one particular absolutely unhinged pro-Palestinian poster who rants about the same vile things in every post.  She has NEVER admitted that Hamas are disgusting terrorists and in fact, flatly denies that they did anything wrong at all.  Pretty sick.[/quote]

DP Requiring any poster to acknowledge anything about Hamas seems like nothing more than a WHATABOUTISM! distraction tactic at this point.

Let’s assume everyone agrees that Hamas are monsters / demons / groups. I think everyone has already condemned and denounced them, but let’s go a step further to resolve your issue. There.

Now we have to deal with the fact that one group of monsters / demons / ghouls slaughtered less than 1,000 innocent non-combatants while the other group of monsters / demons / ghouls slaughtered over 45,000 innocent non-combatants, or more than 45 for every 1 innocent non-combatant in the first group. And that’s just since 2023. And that’s not considering the tens of thousands of non-fatal casualties, the economic losses, the displacements, etc. Or the violations of law and war crimes committed in the West Bank daily, before and after 10/7/2023.

Digesting those facts, do you understand why demanding that time be spent quibbling over how to label Hamas is offensive, if not outrageous?[/quote]
