Her claims of racism are rich since she was the loudest voice in favor of closing the only Black-run charter in MCPS: MBLI.

She’s a fraud and a hypocrite. She doesn’t care about Black people. She’s just using them as a talking point to stick it to the people who are against the superintendent’s recommendation.[/quote]
I fully support H.. that said,  Montoya should be called out for saying what she did.  Just because one doesn't support H doesn't mean they are racist.  I mean, I'm sure there are black/brown parents who are against H, too.

I attended today’s meeting and have apparently wasted my time in countless previous meetings and consultant meetings to review options that were never considered. Today and at previous meetings, Rivera-Oven, Wolff, and Montoya basically called everyone opposed ”racist” and said their language was disgusting. I’m sure they’ve heard some rude things, but the only racism and rude language I’ve heard is from those three board members, who should be better than that. They were appalling. [/quote]
