Very curious to see what the turnout will be. Since the last one, two American citizens were executed by ICE, Trump has begun a war in the Middle East, sent the economy into a tailspin and so much more. Need 12 million people to reach the 3.5% at which change is effected. June 2025 was about 4 to 6 million and October was 5 to 7 million.
Will people be more energized or have they reached protest exhaustion?
They’re sick of wasting their time because nothing changes.
You can't turn out on two sunny Saturday afternoons and expect the world to change. The Civil Rights movement didn't achieve anything with two marches. The American Revolution wasn't a two day event. If you actually want change, you have to show up repeatedly and persist until you either force change or overpowering action from those in power. Large numbers are good. Large numbers that aren't going home until is what is required to get change. That's why most modern revolutions are driven by student action in college vacations. If you want change - No Kings every (k)night!
