He was attempting to assist the police. And if you watch the video, the guy who they were trying to remove wedged his own hand in the door jamb.  Again, he should NOT have been resisting. [/quote]

I asked WHY Sheehan took it upon himself to “assist”.  It’s not in his job description or pay grade.  I did watch the video. Again, Sheehan should have stayed in his lane. What he did was assault.

+1. In the ER patients assault us and the nursing staff on the regular. We have burly security guards for this purpose (God bless these guys) and occasionally FX county police are called or step in. No one's asking me to roll up my white coat sleeves and start swinging my stethoscope to save the day.

The tough guy routine is as cringe as Patel pounding beers in the NHL locker room. These guys all need to stay in their lane. [/quote]
