I don't have any skin in the game since we are not affected by these boundary changes. But as a Gaithersburg resident, I also want to know if Crown will now be accessible to Gaithersburg residents AKA Region 5. I hope it is not going to Region 4 magnet because Region 5 magnet is the worst of all these magnets.

If MCPS spies are on this board, Crown with whichever school is there should be with Region 5. Otherwise this is just a scam - depriving Gaithersburg residents of a brand new school as well as not giving them access to the new labs for magnet kids.

Have the STEM magnet in Crown and move Humanities to Gaithersburg High school.

Under his recommended option H, Wootton at Crown, the new school is region 4.

Under the non recommended alternate where both Wootton and crown exits, Wootton is region 4 and crown is region 5.

If you want crown in region 5, you need to push the board to adopt the non recommend alternate [/quote]
