1) School leaders need to admit that they don't have enough security personnel to begin with

2) I'm not sure why you jumped to MCPS security staff aren't allowed to touch students with regard to this discussion, but I'm assuming it's because you assume the only way to prevent kids from leaving the building is by physically restraining. If that is the case, MCPS should point out that policy that is preventing them from stopping kids from leaving schools and we can have a discussion with the BOE about amending that policy if we feel it's getting in the way of stopping kids from leaving school.

Has MCPS done or said either of those things? No. So why are you holding them blameless?[/quote]
