I'm going to give you my answer with the assumption that you are a moderate and was absolutely disgusted by January 6th. You saw it happen in real time. You knew Trump was 100% culpable. You were shocked at the number of people who could still be Trump supporters after Jan 6th and who didn't believe he was guilty in inciting that riot. You knew they were brainwashed by Fox News and other right wing media. You marveled at their lack of critical thinking skills. You know they were in a bubble and weren't getting the same information.

PP here. I’m a moderate and I thought Jan 6th was an attempted coup and horrifying. I am absolutely not a Trump voter.

You know those white liberal women felt a sense of superiority - they were educated unlike Trump supporters. They didn't support Trump. They were on the side of righteousness and goodness. Getting brainwashed by Fox News could never happen to an educated person like themselves. They were too smart and educated to fall for that. Being brainwashed by Fox News only happens to the uneducated deplorable people in flyover country.

Little do they know they same thing has been happening to them. Only they are too arrogant to realize it.
