Carol should challenge zoysia to a game of pac man. Something that relies not at all on knowledge but on reflex and muscle memory. Just to test how much of that is transferred in the hive.
It's Zosia. And the card game they played demonstrated exactly that.
I disagree to an extent. Card games do not require that much muscle memory. But both scenarios would require Carol to have enough muscle memory in there to evaluate. IE, does Carol have more muscle memory for Spit than the average person has for a similar type of card game. I doubt she would have the muscle memory to be that competitive in pac man herself. But I think this is kind of semantics, because they might not have muscle memory but the way they describe their communication as kind of intuitive breathing type thing, and how they all have kind of ever present knowledge, it would equip almost anyone with the tools to do something fairly well. Even if perhaps only the body of the expert would be able to say, execute a quadruple axel to perfection. I think I'd take her skiing. Something that you can understand entirely in theory but until you're using your body to do is hard, and she came from a very hot place. But still I expect she would do it well quickly. I do think she pulled out a bit of individuality there which was very interesting. I'm the poster that said there must be some reason they are going to such great lengths to make these people happy. I also don't mind the slow pace. The only thing I think is unrealistic is how there are really only the two of them rejecting this. I feel like it would be more than that. The exception I think must be that the people babysitting the others must be very good at cosplaying their relatives which provides so much comfort that they don't perceive things being as different as they are. Zosia struggling with 'I' though makes me doubt that a bit. Anyway very interesting that she was able to extract something real. Also interesting that there is no imminent invasion and their entire goal is to simply spread the virus to a different corner of the galaxy.
Zosia is from Gdansk, Poland.
Oh I didn’t look up the city. I just made an assumption from the scene where she left what she was doing to go to Carol , it looked more like an arid desert region
I thought she was by the pyramids in Egypt and assumed her previous love died in the Arab Spring or something because she hinted at them being dead but I literally made that all up, yikes
