[/quote] +1, there were kids with allergies in my friend group growing up and it wasn't the big drama it is now. If they went to other kids' houses they would bring their own food, and wouldn't eat anything that they didn't know for sure was safe. It was no big deal. Also when I was a kid there were way fewer situations where parents sent food into school for everyone. I don't recall having classroom parties for birthdays. [/quote]
