LOL This is Horizon Hill back in the 80s all over again, from the argument around property values to changing from being a walker to a bus rider.  And guess what.. it turned out fine.[/quote]

MCPS is not in the real estate business, nor should it care about your property values.

MCPS doesn’t care because they will get what they ask for either way. But if your property value goes down because your school is worse someone else’s property value will go up because their school is better. The effect of all this on county revenue is pretty negligible. [/quote]
