Republicans have been looking to get rid of ACA, Medicare, SNAP, social security etc for several decades now.  Their view is that it's "moochers" and want that money that pays for the social safety net for themselves.   Little do they realize it would just go to billionaires.  And to that end they make up a whole lot of lies about "it's all going to illegals" and "it's all fraud" and "they are all lazy" and so on.

Dems on the other hand get a whole lot wrong but at least they understand that we can't just have families sick, starving and dying in an alley.[/quote]
