And then some old-timer (likely you from the retirement home), will regale everyone with tales of the olden days of 12k applicants, students clamoring to learn languages, and hordes of ED kids ready to be full pay and wait to start in February to help Middlebury with its scheme of hiding the stats of its academically middling rich kids.
