It's never just all good or bad but the issues we have today are about corrupting the freedoms and liberty of US.  It's not about how well we are doing financially or what MAGA seems looks good.  It's about the foundation which is meaningful only when you measure intangibles like the reputation of US in the world.  People are making fun of us and hating us.  That's not good.  It's about people feeling this country stands for the principles it was born with like freedom, justice and liberty.  That's low these days.  So it's about these things.  Trade goes back and forth as does the market.  So it's less about these things but the long term cultural identity about our country that's so messed up nowadays. [/quote]
