The “coming ice age” thing in the 70s was not really a thing - it was based on ONE questionable, and debunked paper, not reflective of the mainstream, but it was unfortunately picked up in some parts of the clueless media and hyped.  But the fact that you are trying to use it now to beat up on science and sow FUD demonstrates either your own cluelessness or your own intellectual dishonesty.  Either way you should fix that.[/quote]

Since 1969 to 1976, Science magazine, Science News, and various newspapers and magazines declared with certainty a Coming Ice Age, the same certainty declared about Global Warming and now [play scary music and wooo noises], Climate Change.
