What a weird time we live in where peaking out against an ongoing genocide is treated as a greater crime than committing the genocide itself.
True. Pointing out that Hamas' charter explicitly calls for genocide is somehow seen as blaming the victim. It'd be comical if not so pitiful.
Cool. Now do the Likud charter!
Here you go: https://educ.jmu.edu/~vannorwc/assets/ghist%20102-150/pages/arabisraeli/likudpolicy.html Likud is of course one of about two dozen political parties in Israel which hold seats in the Knesset. This pluralistic representation occurs because Israel is a parliamentary democracy, with members elected to the legislature through proportional representation. Hamas, in contrast, is a single-party Islamist authoritarian government. It has been designated a terrorist organization by the United States and many European governments. What else is there to know?
Hamas is also one of a dozen different Palestinian political groups. They’re not even the main political group leading Palestinians. The PLO still leads the West Bank. They accept Israel and a two stare solution. They get land grabs from Israel as a thank you. Israel seem to want to make Hamas lead the West Bank too.
