If the SBOE or DCPS give any air to this I’m going to be so angry.  There are kindergarteners in DCPS exposed to mold and lead in their dilapidated buildings but no lets focus on rich parents whining because they didn’t get their way.[/quote]
I testified before the DC Council for the dyslexia bill.
I wish these parents sat there and listened to real problems with DCPS as opposed to their own self created drama.

Real problems - having qualified teachers for home bound children (due to medical issues)
Real problems - DCPS not providing special education services to students who have identified needs because a teacher does not believe the diagnosis
Fake problem - paying for private PreK for your K age child and outrage when the school enforces their policy.[/quote]
