When you go to the hospital and they ask if the injury was a result of an accident the insurance company will contact that person so their insurance can pay. It’s pretty standard.[/quote]

If a kid sends a hockey puck into the side of your car and it’s an accident most parents would offer to pay the deductible/for the damage. How is this different? OP will need to pay for an ER visit and x-rays because someone didn’t stop their child drop a water bottle on her head. Just because something is an accident doesn’t mean that the injured party has to assume financial responsibility for the damage caused to them. [/quote]
