Agree. I think Democrats are saddled with an albatross here, unfortunately. It's hard to walk this back to common sense now, but they should try. I think a lot of the more extreme positions were attributed to Democrats when the majority didn't necessarily support those positions. And as the mother of two teenagers that both went through a period of "am I trans?", I honestly have mixed feelings about a lot of the messaging and the insistence among trans activists that you have to accept the word of your 13 year old without question. Even the medical community was irresponsible in this arena.[/quote]
