I think it’s that regular Americans are not that fond if Democrats anymore after Covid and after a decade of Dems calling voters stupid nazis.  And Americans were never that fond of civil service bureaucrats, although that seems to be a big surprise to people in DC.[/quote]

It's the boomers. I have yet to hear about a single boomer who has ANY issue with what Trump has done so far. There are those one-off cases like the Trump voter who got fired from her National Park job but that's not going to affect the boomers.
