what services do you expect to be getting for those tax dollars at that income? do you understand the purpose of government? do you ever travel by plane? drive on an interstate highway? have a passport? enjoy relative peace and security? eat food you didn’t grow? put money in a bank? relatedly, did you struggle to share growing up? do you have some sort of deficiency where you are capable of feeling empathy or kindness towards others?

- yes, although I also understand that the purpose of government is the subject of great controversy and is more about subjective preferences than objective truth

-no, I feel empathy towards others and have no problem sharing. I just dont believe that we've optimized government yet. I'm also tired of the concept that thr rich pay no taxes when literally only the rich pay taxes. "Eat the rich" etc, does that sound empathetic? [/quote]
