Very true.

My mom grew up dirt-poor in WV. All of my relatives on her side of the family still live there and are very poor. They are all republicans who voted for Trump. They are too dumb to realize that everything they have now - Medicaid, WIC, SNAP, etc. - is going to be gone very shortly at his hands. They also pop out babies like it's a sport. My cousin is a 36 yo grandma. Her daughter just had her 2nd baby and she's 16. My cousin also just had another baby last year. Her 7 kids range in age from 19 to 1.

My dad's side of the family, OTOH, is full of college-educated, upper middle class and upper-class liberals. I have 12 cousins on his side of the family and only 2 of them have kids and another thinks she might want kids but isn't sure. They are all in their child-rearing prime, too (24-38). None of the rest want kids. It's the same with most of my friends as well. None of my friends want kids. Their dogs are their kids. [/quote]
