I did this to lose 15 lbs over 5 months. Never went to a high dose. I didn’t want to starve myself, even though I wouldn’t feel the hunger. Side effects were minimal. I’m now gradually tapering off and will do so for another month or so. It was nbd really. As someone who never really struggled with weight until perimenopause it was pretty amazing. It completely quieted my brain’s focus on food and I was able to remember and return to how I used to eat when I was thinner. No more unsustainable diets. Just simpler eating, smaller amounts, with minimal snacks. And because I am tapering off slowly, maintaining those eating patterns that I’ve returned to feels easy to maintain. My new normal is my old normal if that makes sense.
This has 100% been my experience too. No side effects, maintained an appetite. I feel like every woman in Perimenopause should have access to it if they want.
Me too, I was never a big eater to begin with have faithfully run and done orange theory 4-5 times per week for years. I hit perimenopause and started packing on the weight. I took my first 1/2 dose over the weekend and I am down 4lbs and I don’t feel bloated and swollen anymore. I don’t even think k I’m eating less. I think it kickstarted my metabolism.
