ANYONE not doing their job, MUST be FIRED. Trump is a business person, not a lifelong dumbass politician, like Pelosi, Schumer and Chinese Mitch.
The Republican Party would not have had the power to get Trump and all the wins had it not been for Mitch McConnell. More than any other Republican, McConnell is why the GOP has so much control today over judiciary, legislative, and executive. You’re not very bright if you can recognize it.
The question is: why is Mitch turning against him now?
He is not. Mitch is not one of his MAGA lackeys. He's older than Trump, and one of the most powerful men in the free world before Trump ever got the whim to dabble in politics. He is a serious person and he actually cares about our nation even if he doesn't always agree with the others he works with. Anyone, especially Trump who is ever under the illusion that Mitch McConnell shouldn't be taken seriously will get what's coming to them and fast. I suspect Trump pissed him off. And Mitch McConnell isn't to be trifled with. That said, Hegseth is the Secretary of Defense, so Trump needs to calm down and move on. McConnell could easily have sunk the nomination and he didn't.
McConnell is not running for reelection. He doesn't like Trump can do anything he wants. If he was younger and wanted to run again, he'd have voted for Hesgeth to avoid a primary competition and avoid conflict in the Senate. I would not be surprised if McConnell voted no knowing Tillis was going to vote yes so it wouldn't matter. I do not find McConnell a man of any particular integrity. It's akin to people suddenly discovering Cheney was a man of integrity!
