Not where I live. Farming in residential zones is allowed on all agricultural and single-family zoned properties. Urban Farming is allowed in the residential zones for townhomes and multifamily communities as well other non-residential zones.

If you live someplace where you’re on a well, your neighbors already have bigger livestock that chickens.

Plus, your own septic system is doing more to introduce E. Coli to your well than some chicken in the next yard over. [/quote]

I live near Tysons Corner and many of my neighbors have wells, some have septic (don't know if anybody has both). Definitely not zoned for livestock. [/quote]
