lol, my day was actually great but those parents probably weren’t. Sounds like quite the opposite of what some of you are posting which goes back to your selfish privileged selves.

Can we grow the hell up?  Honestly it's absolutely insane how vitriolic these threads get over a minor snowstorm and the resulting difficult choices being made in terms of school closures.  THERE IS NO PERFECT DECISION.  There are good arguments as to why DCPS was correct to open school today.  There are good arguments as to why DCPS should have closed like neighboring districts did.  There are kids that had an easy, good school day.  There are kids who did not.  There are teachers who made it fine to school today.  There are others that had a hard time, or called out.  No decision here was going to make EVERYONE happy.
