Guarantee it is going to come out that it was a parent or relative’s gun, or they were otherwise aware of the gun’s existence. I’m calling it now. 12/17/24 at 9:12am.
A manifesto was found blaming the father. Something along the lines of his willful ignorance allowed her to obtain it. From what I saw this morning, heavy dislike of males as well.
Dad’s name is Jeff Rupnow. His FB cover photo shows his daughter shooting a gun at some sort of range. It’s sad to scroll back and see her as a little girl back when her life still had potential. And then she chose to harm others along the way and was given training and access to a gun. FWIW his name and these photos are allllll over Twitter so I’m not sharing anything that isn’t mainstream.
Just looked him up. Not at all what I was expecting him to look like.
He certainly doesn't look like a "lib" (for those that are trying to politicize this tragedy).
Libs don’t take their daughters shooting. FFS.
I'm the PP. That was my point.
Then why would anyone expect him to look like a “lib”?
Because Madison Wisconsin, of course.
+1 Madison is peak white liberal.
Wisconsin has a lot of liberal and a lot of liberals who are also gun owners. And Madison is more diverse politically then you might imagine - especially the suburbs. I was born and raised in SE Wisconsin and have so many friends and family that live in Madison - it is a really like a small town. Most people there (aside from UW students) are 1 or 2 people removed from this tragedy so let's hold some space for how tragic it is. My cousin went to HS with the shooter's dad. My best friend's daughter's best friend attends that school. Everyone is grieving and shaken.
