In law, no one cares where you went for undergrad. I went to a SLAC whose reputation has been sliding downhill for some time. But I was no 1 in the class so that got me into all T5 law schools. That has cachet. I go to those reunions. I went to one college reunion and it was so lame and boring that I've nevef been back. Same is true of undergrad when you go on to med school.
