Yep.

Hand-wringing, crying big baby tears, talking about how unfair it is -- all that doesn't do jack squat. It's actually much easier, because if we had all the levers taken away, we can't use any levers to try to mitigate this. No reason to go through anything emotional if the story is already written anyway.

So, what's actually going to happen? Your guess is as good as mine. Trump has a mandate. Dems were stripped of the effective ways to resist that, so now we don't have to resist. Might as well eat popcorn and work in the garden, or take your kids to a movie, or whatever.
