It was pretty shocking for me to see this. The far right has gotten EXTREMELY good at marketing. There are several pipelines in place, including parenting, health/nutrition (why do you think so many of them sell supplements and Andrew Huberman is on the right wing podcast circuit?), crypto, dating/marriage, holistic/natural, etc. Many of which are female-focused.

And Fox News is one of the most brilliant marketers out there. Even the colors and sound effects they use are designed to put people into a state of fight or flight so they purchase from ads. [/quote]

See, this is the rhetoric the alt right uses to suck parents in.

Books are dangerous, schools are propaganda, vaccines cause autism, kids who go to daycare are traumatized, middle school girls are becoming boys, grown men will go into bathrooms and defile your girls.

When the data shows a completely different story. For example, about 1.4% of kids in the US identify as trans - which is actually on the lower end of the global range of 1.2-2.2%.

But making moms anxious about their kids is a great way to suck them in.

My kid attended one of the most selective preschools in DC at age 3. The school required children to be fully potty trained to attend. All of the kids who attended daycare before preschool were not fully trained and had accidents in class for weeks even though their daycare providers indicated otherwise on their applications. The kids who had nannies or family care were all fully trained on Day 1.[/quote]
