Just because you can find a handful of Latinos and Puerto Ricans who were not offended does not mean that the majority of those groups were not offended.

I guarantee you that a very significant majority of Latinos in general and Puerto Ricans specifically were and are offended.  And they will spread this through their communities and it will make a difference.  I happen to know several blended Puerto Rican families and I can bet that their spouses will be just as offended and inflamed by the comments.  [/quote]
