My eating habits have changed for the better; dinner portions aren’t tiny, but I generally have no interest in and skip the carbs like bread, potatoes, or rice. No dessert afterwards, no snacking. I’m setting a better example now than pre medication.[/quote]

The interesting thing is there are several (proven) weight loss drugs that have been around for decades that nobody really talks about or seems interested in.

Phentermine-topiramate (Qsymia), these have been around for 30+ years.  But they do require some effort on the part of the person taking them, which is of no interest to anyone.[/quote]

GLP 1 agonists require some effort. They completely change the way you eat and kind of train track you into ordered eating. Everyone I know using them is rocking weight loss with healthy eating, healthy activities and exercise and no drugs or alcohol. If you continue this after you get off then the weight will stay off maybe. [/quote]
