Russia is way more involved in oil politics than Halliburton, which is at least an American company. They're literally part of a cartel that tries to control the world's oil supply

And to say that while pretending to be anti-war is just more whacky pants.  There's a giant war going on right now that Russia started in order to control thr Black Sea gas deposits.

If Russia wants to the control the worlds oil or their neighbors oil, how is that any of my business and why should my tax dollars go toward fighting that? I heard this before about Saddam’s invasion of Kuwait. Another thing I don’t know why I should care about as an American. We do the same thing. Trump is the only president I’ve ever heard acknowledge this.

My party was once the anti Cold War party but I no longer recognize  the Democrat Party. We have learned nothing from history .

I remember not very long ago Sarah Palin was famously mocked for saying she can see Russia from
Her house and McCain and Romney are mocked for being paranoid about Russia . They actually called  Putin’s ambitions  correctly and it was the arrogant left including Obama and Hillary that scoffed and laughed.

Now?? Tides have changed but what I have realized  is that the blind spots and myopia of the left is a continuous pattern. They are arrogantly blind. We were told Hillary was absolutely going to win , Trump was absolutely racist and wrong  that COVID was definitely not an intentional lab leak from China  ir that open borders would overpopulate cities and resources and increase drugs and rapists. We were told Republicans were wrong about trans  wanting the children but now they read at kindergartens and at pride marches they openly say they want the kids . We were told Republicans were wrong about crime against women or children  increasing with gender free bathrooms and public pools [/quote]
