I fly internationally all the time. Most people are reclining. No idea where OP is coming from.

I was once on a 14 hour flight to Dubai and the person in front of me reclined immediately. So I reclined. The man behind me started kicking and making a fuss and dragged over a poor attendant to complain. The attendant did politely say to me: the gentleman behind you is not happy that you reclined" in a very non committal voice. I smiled politely and pointed to the seat in front of me that was fully reclined. She smiled and nodded and later gave me a freebie treat as an apology. [/quote]
Yup. I posted some excerpts from the CNN article from a FA - specifically said the person complaining about the reclined seat will be the one getting in trouble or taken off after. Someone reclining their seat is doing nothing wrong. Someone threatening violence over it definitely is. [/quote]
