If I see my friends post on SM that they bought the latest new car, do I run out and get a new fancy car? No, I don’t care about cars and am happy driving old cars. I don’t care that my kids want a Tesla. I like travel. If my friends go someplace cool and share photos, I’ll add it to my list of trip ideas.
