Do not give her this credit. This is about child abuse and human trafficking. She didn't touch on that or have a care in the world for it. She was a raging homophobe who peddled the idea that gay= child exploitation. She may have very well been right about Diddy, bbut their issue is not that they're gay.[/quote]

She wasn’t a raging homophobe. Her entire show was mostly black gay men/fans working with her  calling her and saying they loved the show and the “tea”.  That’s how How you doin? Came about. she got the scoop on these  activities :from her fans who’d write in to the show. She was just telling the urban radio station listeners this is all Bs, they’re selling you an image, many of these rappers with women in the videos pouring champagne over models half naked don’t even like women. Wendy wasn’t gay bashing. She was just calling it like she sees it. She also exposed Cosby years ago and was fired from her first job. There were so many stories that she got right. The mainstream papers caught on to  Whitney’s addiction because of Wendys reporting. Whitney even called Wendy one day in an infamous phone call but Wendy -from addict to addict -said she knew all the signs of cocaine  and was calling her out.

This! Regarding Wendy Williams.

Listened to her on 107.5 WLB then Hot 97 in NYC and also Philly Power 99. Initially she went about things and calling out gay people in a mean way but then spun into ‘how you doin’’?’ I recall the Whitney call, Mariah, Riri. Hip Hop hated WW for callling some of them out, I feared for her safety. Mase left Bad Boy at his prime bc of all he saw. Like everyone else, I know a few people who’ve worked in that business behind the scenes and all of the give me ‘if you are asking then you know the answer look’ when I ask them about Puff, Russell [/quote]
