I had a friend with a legitimate disability who contacted a few lawyers to help with the paperwork- one didn’t even ask about his disability and basically announced that he was was the guy to hire if he wanted to retire.  Ultimately that friend ended up getting another job in the government he was capable of doing.  Another person I know was on a term appointment and managed to finagle disability retirement.  She’s a total scumbag though and just didn’t like working.  [/quote]
