They’re not so much “anti-war” as they are isolationist. They remind me of the “know nothing” party. They hate the liberal change they see in America so much, that Trump supporter republicans actually empathize with Russia. They like its anti-gay, Christian, strong  authoritarian because they can see the world ia multi polar now. It’s basically China and Russia and other authoriam countries and then the other pole is western democracy/EU type places

Except the Trump types side with the authoritarian side instead of this split. So of course they aren’t bent out of shape with what Putin is doing. Theyre deathly afraid that liberal values will win. They see religion in decline in the west. They see transgender rights. They see “immoral behavior” and abortion and women’s rights and they hate it.[/quote]
