This is why the police advise people to keep the fob on their person while pumping gas, vs leaving inside the car (like in the cup holder); because thieves either overpower the owner pumping gas and get in on the driver side OR slide in on the passenger side, lock the doors, climb over to the drive side and drive away (bye bye car).[/quote] Sorry, but it didn’t. It’s a Federal requirement that it stays running with no fob for safety reasons as long as it is in drive or left in park for 30 mins or longer. [/quote]
