I know we aren’t supposed to have any sympathy for car jackers - though, in this case these seem to be some version of shoplifters except with an idling unsecured car. But I am glad to know they have some level of morality. There are woods a few blocks from where they dropped the baby and it was 35 degrees and or less last night. Instead they chose a well lit house and knocked to notify the occupants. I’m not saying they deserve a medal just glad that this crime and neglect didn’t turn out so much worse.  [/quote]

I mean, this was by and large a CYA move and nothing more. If they kept the baby (…or abandoned it in the woods) they would have been hunted down and gone to prison and they know it. It’s less touching/heartwarming and more a sign that they’re not absolute idiots [/quote]
