I am not judging at all, but when I hear about parents who spiking their hot cider with fireball, doing jello shots, or having several high ABV beers, it makes me feel ill just thinking about it. I could do that on a Tuesday night in my 20s, it was getting dicy in my 30s, and now in my 40s I have learned to be boring and just abstain most of the time, because the consequences of even just a little alcohol are too steep.
