[/quote] I think he thought he would not cooperate and they would not have enough to charge and convict him. He wasn't baseless, they are trying to flip the au pair for a reason. There was another case with almost this fact pattern but regular affair partner, not au pair. It was staged that a 2nd man was killed supposedly in the act of sa on wife when the plot was all about wife out of picture. It took years/decades? but was ultimately solved. That one was documented too. Maybe he thought he could improve on it? The name may have been on the first, archived, Reddit thread, will try to find it later. [/quote]
