I am probably going to stir the the pot, but I can't help it. Reading your posts, I was wondering if you were a different ethnicity. The reason is...and I am only going to speak for myself and what I think, is that other ethnicities tend to be more comfortable with their bodies, and think that they look great at a certain size (which is great). However, the weight and size a woman of color thinks is beautiful, a woman like me would think (I am fat and need to lose weight). So I think to answer op's original question (which I kind of forgot at this point), is that everyone has a different perception of their body. I might think, wow I look good in a bikini, but you might think, dang, she needs to cover up!
That's true to a certain extent. But I did say I'm not happy with my weight, so not sure where you get I'm comfortable with it. I was comfortable at 160 and that's what I'm aiming for. Here's me in my bikini in Bermuda (which is after 3 children). Not perfect, but based on where I am now, I'll take it! Wow...
Oh lord. Really, I'm not trying to be harsh, but no, this is not attractive and fabulous or probably all that healthy. This is fat. Look, I'm sorry, the truth hurts. I think you have a skewed perception of yourself, but hey, go right ahead and feel great about yourself. I'm finding it really odd that you keep posting pictures of yourself.
Wow...if you think that's fat, then you and I will probably never agree on anything re: weight. LOL. I love having curves and felt sexy as hell at this weight. Got plenty of attention too (by all races, so it wasn't a black guys like chubby girls thing). I lean more towards loving the body shapes of Marilyn Monroe, Kim K & Beyonce, not Giselle & Natalie Portman. So, if you think those last two are great bodies, then you're right.....our perceptions our definitely different!
