That article "debunks"  nothing. It made clear that Northam meant exactly what he said. Regardless of the baby's "deformity," he said that should the mother go into labor, they would deliver, resuscitate the baby if needed, then decide whether to end its life. It says it clear as day and it's sickening. I realize that is not the stance of most pro-abortionists, but it was Northam's.[/quote]
No, it’s not. It’s about deciding if a newborn with substantial deformities is going to be kept alive. You seem to want to pretend that this theoretical child is a healthy one who will simply continue to be alive like most babies do with basic infant care.

It’s gonna blow your hair back but sometimes neonatologists can’t tell everything about their potential patient while in utero. And it’s heartbreaking for the families, but some infants are not going to live good lives and the cost of their continued, medically involved life is going to break that family emotionally, socially and financially. I know you think everyone else should live out your wishes and completely subsume their lives and that of any other children to a child who doesn’t have an entire brain and is missing a few enzymes, but that’s not how decent people think.
