Ladies who were not thin and youthful were OUT. He seems like a very sweet, genuine guy but he's of course going to want someone who matches him in that way.
He only cut one of the women in her 70s. Two of the women he cut were among the youngest, and one of them, Anna, was definitely one of the thinnest/most conventionally attractive.
Yup, I was shocked when Anna was cut. Bc the prettiest/sexiest usually sticks around to at least week 3. And she was far and away the best looking. Watching him talk about his wife and break down, I suddenly start to feel bad for the guy. Like he doesnt know what he's getting in to and might be a bit too trusting of the production crew
Um, no.
I think Nancy (from our very own DMV area) is the best looking woman there. We didn't see but a second of time with her, so I assume they'll make more of her in future episodes. I know she isn't the one for Gerry --- I think your location and the influence of the area (i.e. city vs. rural, fast vs. slow paced) makes a HUGE difference. You HAVE to match on these things when you are 70-ish. When you are in your 20s or 30s, you can adapt more and become more urban or rural. But, once you've lived your life, you're going to relate to people who are used to the same "speed" that you are living. Gerry is a nice, sincere guy. But, I don't see him as being a DC-type or a Kennedy Center type of person. He's going to need someone who already lives the same life style he is living. At 70-something, you're not looking to push yourself out of your comfort zone. You're looking for someone who fits the SAME life style and speed you are living.
